Despite one of the coldest and rainiest weekends of the season, Chandler + Alex’s wedding day at Highpointe Estate felt incredibly warm, intimate, and full of joy. The cozy candlelight, lush greenery, and elegant reception design created the perfect atmosphere for a romantic winter wedding celebration.
From the moment guests entered the reception space, the attention to detail was impossible to miss. Long floral installations overflowing with greenery and white blooms framed the reception room beautifully, while soft candlelight added warmth and intimacy throughout the evening.
The design struck the perfect balance between classic and modern. The soft champagne and pale blush tones kept everything feeling romantic, while black accents and elegant typography gave the overall aesthetic a polished editorial feel.
One of our favorite design elements was the custom monogram featured throughout the wedding day — from the dance floor to the seating chart and reception details. It tied the entire celebration together so seamlessly and added such a luxurious personalized touch.
Rather than letting the weather take away from the day, everyone fully embraced it — and honestly, it made the entire celebration feel even more memorable. The soft overcast light paired beautifully with their timeless color palette, giving the entire gallery such an elegant and classic feel.
Romantic Portraits and an Unforgettable Reception
Because of the cold temperatures and drizzly weather, we kept portraits efficient and intentional, allowing Chandler + Alex to maximize the amount of time they spent mingling with family and friends during cocktail hour.
Even without spending a large amount of time outside for portraits, we were still able to capture so many meaningful moments between the two of them. Sometimes wedding days don’t go exactly according to plan weather-wise, but this day was such a perfect reminder that genuine joy, connection, and emotion always matter more than perfect conditions.
The reception itself felt incredibly inviting and celebratory. Their first dance beneath the dramatic hanging floral installation created one of the most visually stunning moments of the entire day. Between the candlelit atmosphere, packed dance floor, and elegant details, the entire evening felt like something straight out of a magazine editorial.
And of course, their grand exit with pyrotechnics and a vintage getaway car was the perfect ending to such an unforgettable winter wedding celebration.
